Cookie note
This page describes the cookies that can appear on signal-mapcore.digital, how long they last, and how to refuse the ones that are not required to show the classroom pages.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Some cookies are set by us. Some may be set by a third party if you have accepted analytics. Cookies are not used here to run the lessons themselves; the intensive still happens in a room in Bangkok if every optional cookie is off.
Types we use
Essential. We store your Accept or Reject choice so the banner does not return on every page load. Without that storage we cannot remember a refusal either.
Analytics. Only if you press Accept. These help us see which public pages are read. They are not required to send an enrolment note or to read the curriculum.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| signalmapcore_cookie_choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | 180 days (localStorage) | Signal Mapcore |
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for optional page-count analytics | 13 months | Google Analytics, only after Accept |
| _ga_* | Keeps the analytics session together | 13 months | Google Analytics, only after Accept |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting does not hide lessons, tuition, notes, or the enrolment form. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which forgets the stored choice and will show the banner again. Browser controls can block cookies from this domain entirely; the pages will still render.
Third-party cookies
If you accept analytics, Google may set the analytics cookies listed above. We do not use advertising cookies. Embedded photographs are requested from their public host when a page loads; that host may see the request as it would for any image on the public web. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; that request is for typefaces, not for a lesson file.
Impact of disabling
Turning off essential storage means we may ask again about cookies on a later visit. Turning off analytics means we will not count that visit. You will still be able to read the curriculum, request a seat, and sit in the room. For how we handle the contents of an enrolment note, see the privacy note.
